Herbs are a natural source of immunity to your body and also have many health benefits. There are three different ways in which you can consume these herbs with your tisane.
Note: It is recommended that you boil your herb if it has thick skin, otherwise you just brew it.
It’s what we have been doing for the longest time, the regular boiling!
Place your herbs with water and heat it till the extracts of the herbs start getting infused in the water. This technique is preferred when the herb is a stem, bark or a root!
This is done for flowers and leaves!
In this technique, you take hot water (not necessarily boiled) and place it in a teapot, add the herbs and let it sit for some time.
When you want to have a healthy cooler and not just keep your tisanes only for winters!
Take very cold water, put in your herbs and refrigerate it for 4-12 hours ( depending on how flavored you want your tisane to be or how much time you have). Your healthy, colorful summer cooler is ready!
